It's as if you really saw angels that went down from heaven when you see the members of A.N.JELL (the fictional band from the top-rating Korean drama, 미남이 시내요 | You're Beautiful). Almost a month has already passed since its last episode aired but I think I still have that A.N.JELL fever.

You're Beautiful brings us the story of the fictional band A.N.JELL, the life of its members both on- and off-cam, and of the whole group as well. The fun part is when Go Mi Nyu (played by Park Shin Hye) joins the group in place of his brother. From the ones that gave us My Girl and Delightful Girl Chun Hyang, You're Beautiful is packed with comedy, drama and romance - a full-package for a nice Korean drama.

Definitely, I will miss 황데경, 강긴우, Jeremy, and most especially, 고미남.

ChESS 2009

The Chemical Engineering Seminar Series (ChESS) 2009 kicked off yesterday at the College of Engineering theater. ChESS is a four-part seminar series sponsored by the Engineering Student Council's (ESC) Chemical Engineering Representatives and the Chemical Engineering Students' Initiative (ChESI). There will be one seminar per week for the whole month of September, each covering different topics about Chemical Engineering and related sciences, which include Food and Biochemistry, Energy and Environment, and Polymer Technology.

Seminar 1 was entitled, "ChE Redefined" which focused on the undergraduate level especially the curriculum offered by the Chemical Engineering Department. Dr. Analiza P. Rollon (chairperson, UP Diliman Chemical Engineering Department) and Ms. Emmie Minguez (from Chevron Geothermal Philippines) were the speakers.

You're lucky because you are already familiar with the English language. You can read 5 journal articles per day, or even more in just one sitting. In other countries, the journals have to be translated before they can be read, like in Japan, China and other Asian countries.

Yah. Sir dL's right. I had fun reading and searching in ScienceDirect on the related articles for our thesis and plant design. And with no hassle, I can understand the details of some (not all, some topics are really, WHOA!!) articles written in English. Good for me.

Life is really fair. The way I enjoyed researching on ScienceDirect might also be the pleasure of those people who are watching Style, a Korean series currently aired by Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS). The series started airing last 01 August 2009, as of now there are already 10 episodes, I have checked the website where I'm downloading the videos and it's already updated.

But the sad part is, the subbing team has only published (so far) a total of 3 episodes. And I'm craving for episode 4!!! Well, I can't blame them. Subbing is really tough. You have to translate, encode and the timing has to be synched with the video.
